In addition to a number of ministers, members of the diplomatic community and civil society representatives, the celebration was attended by Palestinian President's chief of staff Dr. Rafiq Al Husseini and the governor of Jerusalem Adnan Al Husseini who conveyed best wishes from the Palestinian presidency. The celebrations this year carried slogans such as "towards a Palestinian state" and "towards a brighter future for Palestinians" to mark the partnership between UK and Palestine.
